In this episode of the Uncensored Sales Podcast Show with Ryann Dowdy, Sara shares how to hone in on your sales process to close more sales and how she’s been scaling Fab Fempreneurs since 2012!

In 2008, Sara discovered that the corporate world was not for her and she wanted to be an entrepreneur. She felt that she had a deeper calling to serve and help others while being her own boss and having more freedom. She began her business as a life coach, dedicated to personal individual coaching. When working with her clients, they would ask her for advice on their business, which now looking back, became the light bulb moment for Sara that she needed to shift her focus to business coaching. She found helping women stay focused on their business goals was not only rewarding and fulfilling, but compelled her to launch her 2nd business, Fab Fempreneurs.

Key Takeaways:

Fab Fempreneurs Top Sales Tips to Thrive in Your Business

Match Your Mindset With Your Mission

Every entrepreneur has an entrepreneurial spirit inside them, and with that entrepreneurial spirit comes a vision for your business. Identifying your vision for your business, what you offer at the core of your business and figuring out who your ideal clients are, are the key ingredients to scaling your business. At Fab Fempreneur Fest, Sara will be coaching from the stage and will dive deep into those topics. Once you identify those parts to your business, especially who your ideal clients are, you can be specific on what you can offer and what you can charge.

Bonus Sales Tip

It is easy to have great sales conversation, but then what? The next step is to ask them for a consultation. They don’t know your process, so let them know you are open to working with them on identifying where they can improve.

 Learn How to Delegate

As a business owner, you have to wear a lot of hats to run your business smoothly. It can also be a challenge to do everything while you are attempting to scale your business. Service providers’ core offering is to provide a service and the easiest way to do this is to start off with one-on-one clients. As you grow, you may need to delegate tasks so you can better serve your clients. Ask yourself, what can you outsource? Maybe you need a Virtual Assistant to help with client maintenance or a Social Media Marketer to help create your social media calendar. Outsourcing services can be beneficial for your business so you can focus on your vision. Once you have identified your needs, make sure you are charging enough money and balance the value you are providing. As Sara prepared for the 2nd Annual Fab Fempreneur Fest, she knew she couldn’t do it alone. She hired an event assistant to communicate with the sponsors and speakers and an event strategist to help plan the event.

Invest & Take Time for your Business

Often entrepreneurs, don’t take the necessary time to work on their business or take time for self care. Both go hand-in-hand with one another and it is crucial to carve out time once or twice a week to go over your vision, business goals etc. Also, entrepreneurs don’t always invest in the resources that will help them achieve those goals like hiring a business coach, joining a network group or attending a workshop.

Sara’s vision was to create a community for women entrepreneurs, which lead her to creating Fab Fempreneur Fest, happening September 27th and 28th at the West Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. Fab Fempreneur Fest is a 2 day conference-meets-retreat for women entrepreneurs to work on their business and connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs. At Fab Fempreneur Fest you will work on discovering your vision, identifying your CORE OFFERING, finding your IDEAL clients and making a 90 day action plan. Last year, attendees built their business at fest and even gained clients in the process! Fab Fempreneur Fest is a great investment to yourself and your business.
